One month of the Moslem year is fasting month, not only as an obligation to God but also a fasting weight loss per day. It cannot be denied if fasting can also reduce weight especially if we keep our size of food under control. We can reduce the portion of food less so the calories less into the body. It is also better if you increase drink along the night to keep your body fit and not too thirsty during the day of fasting. Make a schedule to organize the kind of food that will be consumed. Make sure the food has balanced vitamins and minerals, enough fat but will not make you go fatty. And then, insert a little portion of carbohydrate too. For example, eat a bowl of spinach soup with sweet corn, or eat spinach omelette with cheese sauce. A bowl of chicken soup or pasta can be another alternative menu. Always choose fresh fruit like orange, grape, mango and watermelon for the dessert. Still do all daily activities and also keep sports every day along fasting month. We can still do sport although we are fasting, it maybe not as hard as day outside fasting month. Just go jogging, do a little dancing or yoga to keep your muscle and all parts of your body still warm and elastic.

When coming to the meal time, start it with a glass of warm tea or a glass of warm mineral water. Don’t start drinking ice or anything cold, because it will make you cramp. Then, eat a little size of main food and finish it with fresh fruit. Remember, just eat a small portion, keep your appetite under control, although you have not eaten along the day, and your stomach is empty but if you eat too much at the break time, your fasting weight loss per day means nothing!
